Symposium Programme

The symposium programme is subject to change at the discretion of the scientific organising committee.

DAY ONE will be a technical meeting complemented by confirmed keynote presentations from:

• Jack Saddler - Professor of Forest Products Biotechnology/Bioenergy, University of British Columbia; Task Leader of IEA Bioenergy Task 39: Commercializing Liquid Biofuels
• Jim McMillan - Principal Engineer and Group Manager, Biochemical Process R&D, National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Colorado
• Claus Felby - Professor in Wood and Biomass Technology, Forest and Landscape, Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Copenhagen

DAY TWO will include workshop discussion sessions focussing on:

• Accelerating next generation biofuels implementation in New Zealand
• New Zealand research directions
• Collaboration and communication
